I was not happy with the initial settings for the easy start menu for both AC and DC . Here we finally had the programming so the finish weld time and downslope works smoothly and consistently down to 5 amps for AC and the 3 amp finish for DC

Penncrest Buzzbox - Infinite amp control! Man the 70's were good.
Everlast Powerplasma 60 - Reliable unit, cuts well.
Everlast i-MIG 250P w/spoolgun - Really smooth, plenty of cajones.
Everlast 250EXT - Sometimes it just takes a kick in the balls...
Everlast 255EXT - Just started playing

Everlast team: This machine looks like its going to be a huge winner for you. It was very welcoming to find this thread after that last one fell off in March. I am anxious to see how this welder turns out as it looks very impressive and promising, accessories included.

No updates as of yet. You need to understand that we still need to have the units flown into the USA with all accesories and then further testing needs to be done .
Giving a update without any of this being accomplished would be a little hasty .
We have really only taken the first step in verifying and changing some specs to our criteria , and verifying certain performance aspects. The actual evaluation takes longer than just a week or so and it needs to be done here with a few different sources testing the machines .
But having said this I would expect a somewhat speedy result ,but I can not give time frames.
    Cheers

Question on the new PowerTig 255EXT I was reading the spec. sheets and it has Advance Pulse (AC to DC-) Frequency 0.1 to 10Hz, how does that actually work on the 255EXT?

Same as it does on the 210ext. We've got a video of it (210) up on our channel on youtube.

Thanks Mark I watched the video on the Standard Pulse and the Advance Pulse on the 210EXT now I understand the AC to DC- Frequency so on the 255EXT AC wave form dose it work on all of them Advance square, Soft square, Triangular and Sine wave?

Wave form shouldn't be affected by the pulse. Two different things.

You could always pre-order it. I pre-ordered my PP256 and now this 255EXT.

    Everlast,
Is there an online PDF of the 255EXT manual that I can get. I am looking at ordering a 255EXT but would like to look through the manual first.
This model appears to have been out for a bit now, have all of the bugs been sorted out ?
Looks like an awesome little Tig welder.
    Thanks
    Dave

There should be a brochure on the details page along with all the specs and information we have. We also have a video online. All of it should detail about anything you could want.
