extension cord to weld on 110 for tig 185

hi i have to do some work about 30 feet from my house , just some tacs and short beads on some 16 gauge exhaust tubing.

I want to use the machine on 110 , can i use any regular extension cord from the house plug to the welder or I have to have something thicker made up?

14 gauge should be good for that. For longer runs 12 gauge is best.
