  1. Default PowerTIG 185 Micro Review

I ordered an Everlast PowerTIG 185 Micro from Oleg after waiting more than three weeks and requesting a refund from the competition. The unit was shipped within three hours of my ordering, and arrived within the three business days quoted. The unit arrived with no damage to the packaging or unit whatsoever. The order was complete and missing nothing. The welder powered up with no problems, and the performance is excellent. On the quality side, the gas hose and barb connections are a bit tricky at first, but work well once secured properly. The ground clamp and cable are way above avaerage, and the torch and foot pedal perform very well. There's a good stable arc in both AC and DC modes, and the controls work very well. They also include a very good starter manual with the unit. Sales and technical support have been excellent. I think this was a very good buy, and I highly recommend it for anyone starting out in TIG, or light industrial settings. My rating; 4.5 out of 5 stars (5 stars when they add a better gas line and connectors, great unit for the price otherwise).

Welcome to the forums! Stop in again and let us know what you're up to. Thanks for the review, also, the 185 is a performing machine *that's also* dual 110/220 voltage, which makes it a compelling solution, to my mind.
