Thread: Bandsaw stand

I take off the table but put the screws back in snug so not to loose them. I will be setting up a second one in the shed this weekend. Got a good deal on a second one. Only problem, they are small compared to the grizzly at the day time shop. But they work well. And mine does not track that great but better than a abrasive chop saw and no smoke/smell..

I too upgraded the blade, use wax on it with a little cutting lube. I get a lot of cuts on the blades.

It took a while to get this one dialed in but it tracks well now. Here's a cut to square up the end of some 1"x4" cold rolled that I made press plates from. Started at less than the blades width. Click image for larger version.

So where is the final picture showing how square the finished bar came out?

The "four screws" might only be three. Two for the table itself and one for the angle-brace that supports it. You can get away without the brace, though, but two screws is still annoying.
So add quick release bandsaw table to your never ending list of projects. Or do like Mike did and get two!

I'll just have to go out to the shop and put a square on one.

Ok, I've taken about 30 pics trying to capture both edges with enough light to be clear.

Looked pretty good, but now it seems to have vanished.

I edited my reply to you, then decided to put it in a separate post and got my pics screwed up... all fixed now.

8-12 tpi vp bi-metal... I use the same blade for everything but I never cut anything thinner than 14ga. I leave the blade speed on it's fastest setting.
