Ok, can y'all tell I decided to enter the contest today? I promise I'll slow down once I've met more of the requirements...
That's a great video review on the 160STH. I wish mine had the dial on foot pedal when I purchased it. I had to resort to making a mechanical stop that is adjustable so I can manually pulse with the max amps limited when welding thin sheet metal. The 220 to 110V pigtail is another item I wish I had. If only I had waited 8 more months before making my purchase (the money would have been LONG gone if I did!). It's nice to see the options are there even for the bottom of the barrel DC only TIG machine. Cool stuff. Now get to welding some projects! We need pics!

New Everlast PowerTig 250EX that is begging for me to come up with a few welding projects so it can stretch it's legs. Did someone say aluminum???
MISC. TOOLS:
Atlas 618 lathe
Milwaukee Porta Band with custom made stand
Dewalt 4-1/2" angle grinder
Dewalt 14" chop saw
Strong Hand Nomad portable table
Juki sewing machine I've had for years (yes I know sewing is for girls)
If you are willing to open up your pedal, I reckon you could add the second dial. I'm not an expert on electronics, but as I understand it, it's just a second potentiometer in series with the main pedal pot. Just have to get the impedance right and find a nice knob for it. Drill a hole, solder up some wire, you're done.
Yeah, I wasn't willingly to tear into the pedal...I figured this solution would work fine for the little amount I use manual pulsing. My big plan is to get a higher amp welder with pulse and A/C capability, so I'm trying to put as little effort into this one as I can. It's still a very useful welder that pays for itself quickly though!
