  1. Default I mig 200 display problems

Got another problem guys: Been doing some build up on a suspension equalizer on one of my truck. Ran about six 3" long beads and around five 1" long beads using 15.5 volts and around 215 wire speed. After the last bead my helper pointed out that the volts window was reading 000 and the wire speed at 003??? I cycled and 15.5 and 215 re-appeared. I ran a short bead and after the weld the numbers went back to 000 and 003. I ran another bead and had my helper check the display numbers while welding and the volt numbers changed to 15.5 and around 155 wire speed then went back to 000 and 003 when I stopped. Let welder sit over night and the next day the welder did the same thing. The arc and the weld seem to be functioning allright. What to do? One last thing. I happened to bump the welder and the volt/speed windows went back to normal. Bumped it again and it went to zeros. More bumping produced no change. Everytime I cycle the normal numbers appear then go away after a short or long weld. I had my helper take a couple of videos. I can send them if needed.

It seems the problem with the display has fixed itself. Used welder to repair a broken truck frame. Display worked properly. Go figure!

    Could be a loose plug.

I have seen that with a bad ground the clamps needs to be cleaned or it was put on a painted surface not getting a good ground, having a good ground makes a big difference when welding.
