I wanted to place an order for the subject machine on Friday, 8-23-13. They said they're on b/o and would not be available for 2 weeks. I didn't want to pay for something Everlast didn't have. Does anyone know when exactly these units will be delivered?

Greetings, Nils- These machines show as "in stock" at Amazon.com, if Everlast in San Francisco does not have them. That may be another option. I'm sure Oleg will do his best to set you up. Not sure where you are- if you call, keep in mind he's in SF, so there may be a time-zone difference to consider.

DaveO thanks for the welcome. If you look closer at the Amazon offering, it says the units ship from Everlast, making their stock claim erroneous. Also, I did send Oleg an email. Like predicted, he did reply promptly. However, he did not answer my question: When can I place an order for this unit? When will they be in stock? A specific date tells me they are sure about delivery. A non-specific date like, 2 weeks, in my experience, is pacification info and unreliable. He committed to neither. We'll see how this plays out. In the meantime, if a good deal on a Diversion comes up on craigslist, I'm going for it.

Yup, I missed that. I thought the relationship with Amazon might include an inventory provided to Amazon and kept at their distribution centers for fulfillment to customers. Not to pick a fight, but just for information- I've read here on the forums that non-specific dates are sometimes due to the vagaries of international shipping, clearing customs, longshoreman strikes, etc., so a specific date may just be a guess at best and cause for further angst if uncontrollable factors cause the date to slide. Understandable that your schedule may not allow a wait- best of luck with either the 185 or the Diversion!

It depends on which one you are looking at. Some ship from Everlast and some ship from Amazon. The one that ships from Amazon has the wrong picture of the unit, so you have a little gamble with it, but @ $799 with free shipping, you can always send it back if it's not correct.

That unit appears to be the earlier model which does not include SMAW capability.

Interesting thread from June. Two weeks turned into one month. Hopefully, this was the exception and not the rule. Meaning, when they quote 2 weeks just before taking your money, they are providing accurate information to the customer. Why this particular customer was told two weeks, and then the actual delivery was one month it doesn't say.

I decided to place an order with Amazon as they are showing "In Stock". Maybe, Everlast has allocated stock exclusive for Amazon customers.

They are always either in-stock, or "2 weeks out".

I got mine in 3 days after ordering, and that was the shipping time from CA to PA.

My emails to Oleg had very specific questions about this unit, i.e., when did they ship, when are they due, how many shipped? None of which he answered in his reply. I got a call from Alex yesterday, probably at Oleg's urging, and he's still quoting 2 weeks on this unit. That's what he was quoting me a week ago.

It's too bad they feel they have to con people out of their money by giving them this "2 weeks" nonsense. They call it a pre-sale, and it is, but it's being made under false terms given to the buying party. The Amazon thing is just a total lie and it's still showing as "In Stock". Alex told me yesterday he'd bring it to the attention of their Amazon guy. Probably just more BS.

My attempts to acquire credible information from this company have been an abject failure. As good as their product is, I'm starting to have serious reservations about doing anymore business with them. If they would just be honest about the delivery, then that would be different. If it's going to take a month, then just say so.

Taking people's money under false pretenses is not good for business.

If you want to wait until the units come in you'll be happy... if not then do what you want. Everyone here has had good service and are happy with their purchases.
Getting all wound up about it won't change a thing... Oleg and his staff are doing all they can to meet the demand. The products sell out for good reason.

i have send you email and offered you two prices .. one discounted and other retail if you don't want to prepay and wait
you didnt want to pay so when units will be in stock will call you. Not sure how or why forum members would know when everlast will have units


your price 900$ for a unit and 150$ for SSC pedal shipping on us

Correct.. small shipping issue from 2 weeks to 3 weeks and 1 week in UPS
so really it was late by a week. Please dont forget that people get good deals
and never pay retail on ALL pre order units
