Default arc force control for powertig 200lx

i have had a the powertig for almost a year and every thing works great with a water cooler and a flex head 225 amp watercooled torch and i have tried to get my stick welder to weld the best it can even tho it has no arc force and any help in making it make very good looking welds would be appreciated like for example should i stay on ac or dc and what rods should work the best since the power tig 200lx has a fixed setting for the stick welder and occassionaly i get fustrated haha

The amperage is adjustable. But the arc force has more to do with helping out with cellulose electrodes. Stick welding takes a different skill set to master. I don't know but most people think that the lx does real well with most electrodes except the 6010 that is a cellulose rod.

Typical excellent rods are 6013,7018, and 7014 or any iron powder rod should work well.
