Thread: Power Plasma 50 MVP

  1. Default Power Plasma 50 MVP

    Hello,
my name is frans and I recently bought a PP50. Picked it up in person in south san Francisco. Have to say I think the business is really set up for internet and mail order sales! But the people were friendly enough.
    My question is:
Can I get some feedback on anyone who has used the unit with 110 voltage? I looked on-line and did not see anyone talking about this

    thank you

    frans

Hi, just wanted to know how good is the 110 household 20amp power in running the cutter. Can i reasonably expect to be able to cut 1/8" material slowly? Or is the 110 really best for sheet metal?
    Thanks
    Frans
    P.s. Thanks for the welcome

It'll cut 1/8 just fine...IF you use the smaller consumables that are offered (which we do not specifically carry but are available at a multitude of places). The S-25 consumables would probably work best in the S-45 torch and believe they are interchangeable.

Yes, the S25 S35 and S45 consumables are interchangeable.
