Default Dumb Newbie, or Dead 210 EXT?

    Hi, all.

Well, I spent the weekdays getting prepped with scrap metal, gas, consumables, etc., and left the best 'till last... wiring the plug and powering up my new unit. Sadly, no joy.

I get a light in the rear power switch, but no fan action or front panel lights. Maybe I'm overlooking something, like a second switch?

Is there a user-servicable fuse / breaker inside, or is it time to contact tech support?

Post a pic of how you wired the plug (inside the plug pic).
Did you check the voltage at your outlet ?

    Thanks for the quick reply.

Yup, the outlet's good; it's been feeding my compressor for years. I've verified power's good into the unit, so it's looking like an RMA...

I put it in the wrong thread, so I will repost here. The color code on the power cord is a bit unconventional since this can be wired for single or 3 phase. I noticed the manual also doesn't have the nice diagram for the plug that you will find in the 250EX manual. Be sure you are not using the red wire for single phase operation.

Thanks! This unit is single-phase only, so you can't wire it wrong unless the green wire isn't ground. But for everyone's peace of mind, here's a photo:

Nevermind. I'm out of date again.

The first step is to call tech support monday morning. He'll walk you through troubleshooting. If that doesn't get it working he'll issue the RMA.

Cool, thanks. I was hoping I missed something obvious, but it doesn't seem like it. Will-do.

    Cheers,
