    Just ordered a 200dx. I have been wanting to learn to TIG weld and hopefully this mating and y'all can help. I have a hobart ironman 230 mig that I bought last year. Its just a hobby and I want to learn.

    Well welcome to the forum you will like the 200DX machine I understand it is a nice light machine, as an AC, DC and stick welder. Good Luck with it lots to learn on this forum.

    Fixed and welcome to the forum. What projects do you have lined up after the TIG learning curve?

    No real projects planned. I really just want to learn to tig weld. I have a jeep that I'm tinkering on. Maybe in the future I may build a set of headers or suspension parts.
