Hi folks,

The last two things that are on my list for my private/hobby shop are 1) a TIG welder and 2) a media blast cabinet.

I looked at a Miller Dynasty 200 DX (air cooled package), but as a hobbyist, the price had me .

My friend in the metal joining processes shop at defense where I used to work till I recently retired put me onto a few options with Everlast being one of them.

So I am considering a PowerTIG 250EX. I'm still in the "doing my homework" stage and what I buy will depend on a few factors offered by the company.

My TIG welding experience is zero, but I do have an oxy-acetylene setup in my shop and the reason for going TIG is I am used to adding a filler rod by hand, unlike MIG.
