I thought I would take a moment and give a shout out to Mark and all of the others here on the forum who helped me with my decision. After batting it back and forth for a couple of weeks, I decided to go with the 250 EX instead of the 255. I really like the idea of having individual knobs and switches to run things....I wanted the multiple wave forms on the 255, but alas the wallet held sway over my heart.....Just couldn't justify the extra $900 to $1000 for the digital interface and the wave forms.

Anyway, thought I would give a sincere thank you to all of you who took part in my earlier quest for information. Good advice and well-reasoned thoughts. Couldn't ask for anything more. I also want to take a moment to recognize and thank Mark for the time spent today on the phone. Very cordial and obviously knows what he is talking about. We had a good discussion and I placed my order at the same time. Mark checked on a delivery schedule for me and called me back to tell me that a shipment was in port as we were speaking and there just happened to be a couple of 250 EX's still available from that shipment......That is great service.!!

The money cleared my bank and within a couple of hours I had a pre-ship notification and a tracking number from UPS. I know everything doesn't always go that smoothly, but in this case it did. As long as the delivery goes as planned and the machine operates as designed, I am one happy camper.

Now all that is left is to decide on the method I want to use for the gas connections, maybe a small light weight tig torch to supplement my series 26, and a cooler to modify or..??.......Then it's on to the Plasma cutter....Mark and I discussed it too. Shouldn't be too long a wait (I hope..)

Thanks for the help everyone..!!
