Thread: Powertig 210 ext AC Frequency adjust

  1. Default Powertig 210 ext AC Frequency adjust

    Hello all,

Just got my new 210 Ext at the end of the week and started to check it out yesterday. I am practicing on some Aluminum and so far so good. I have managed to get a good number of decent beads. The manual doesn't seem to provide much in the way of specific useful information re navigating the options, but the video on settings helped a lot.

My question relates to the AC Frequency adjustment, the specs state that the frequency is adjustable from 15 - 200 hz. My 210 seems to top out at 100 hz, how do you go above 100?

    Thanks
    Lee

    Default

If it doesn't, you need to contact sales monday morning and let them know asap. If you turn the frequency knob and it doesn't go above the 100 hz level, you may have gotten one not meant for the US market.

    Thanks Mark,

I will do, as it definitely stops at 100hz. If it is not US spec, is there any reason not to use it? Just thinking from a safety point of view.

    Cheers
    Lee
