Thread: Hello, new guy from WA

  1. Default Hello, new guy from WA

    Hi all,

Just joined, got a powerTig 210 Ext a few days ago and am spending all my free time in the garage getting used to it. Spend my time mostly working on vehicles, my current project is a 1956 Ford F100 pickup. I live in a small town called Carnation WA ( about half an hour from Seattle) although I originally come from the UK. I moved to the US about 3 1/2 years ago and am loving the PNW.

I bought the TIG after doing quite a bit of research looking into price, reliability etc. and think I made the right decision. In just couldn't justify paying way more for a machine that was twice the size with half the duty cycle for a lot more money.

Hoping to get proficient at Aluminum welding as I have a few projects I want to get done.

    Cheers
    Lee

Welcome Lee, the 210 seems to be a really nice machine. Best of luck with it and don't forget to show us some pictures of that 56 Ford.

    Thanks for the Welcome Guys,

I will hopefully post some pics of my welding projects and the Truck soon. (Truck is just a rolling Chassis at the moment, after pulling it all apart again recently)
