Thread: Greetings from Tampa

    Default Greetings from Tampa

    Hi,

I am enrolled in a introduction to welding class at a local vocational school. I am in my 40s and plan to use my new pp256 for repairs and possible motorcycle fabrication. I am very green and still just kind of making beads and sticking random things together. I expect to work with aluminum the most followed by stainless, with mild steel, titanium, and magnesium as the need arises.

Welcome to the group,,being green is the start,,,give it a few days and you will improve,,plenty of young fellows have started that way and in a little while they are producing fine results,,,it just takes time and practise..

Welcome T_bare. I grew up in Tampa, but left a long time ago. What school are you going to? We all start out green, some catch on faster. But more seat time faster you will get there.

Might want to go in your profile and add Tampa Florida in the location field, other near by might be able to help you get rolling.
