Thread: Foot pedal question

  1. Default Foot pedal question

Just making sure machine is working as intended. PowerUltra205P - panel switch is set to "pedal". Depressing pedal, then releasing it, amps will go from approx 5 to 200, then back to 5. Panel switch set to "panel". Amp control knob set approx 1/2 way. Depressing foot pedal, then releasing it, it will only go to amps set by knob, but no gradual ramp up then down, just acts as on/off switch. Is this correct operation? Thanks

That is correct. The panel is for the torch switch...and all you are doing is turning power on or off. Have you read the manual? http://www.everlastgenerators.com/do...eries_2013.pdf

Thanks. Was hoping it would act like a limiter, with up/down ramp, but at least I know it is working as intended.
