I have a small machine/Tool and Die shop and need to get an AC TIG that's capable of welding 'anything'.
I know that I too have to be capable and have a lot to learn having only had a cheap 200 amp DC TIG. The problem is that literally anything can come through the door from 28 gauge aluminum to 2" steel plate and while I understand that a welding shop is better for the larger jobs, and I do farm those out now, it would be great to be able to keep the smaller ones in house. I have Power IMIG250P that covers most of the steel parts that can be MIG welded but the nonferrous and stainless is the issue.
