Thread: Gas Fish Cooker/ Giant Turkey Fryer for sale. East of Mobile AL

Default Gas Fish Cooker/ Giant Turkey Fryer for sale. East of Mobile AL

My Father in law has this for sale.
He had it custom built out of Stainless. I believe it's 3/16" thick. Not sure of the grade. He is a licensed HVAC and plumbed the gas himself. It's well built.
I took the measurements of the pan, and wrote them down, but have lost the measurements. I believe the bottom is 24 inches wide by 48" long??? He said it would hold about 25-30 gallons. He used it once to boil some water...other than that I don't think it's been used. It has handles on both ends, so two people can lift it.

Asking 500.00. Stainless is worth quite a lot these day.

Very cool. Looks like you can fit 4 medium size turkey in there for sure, or a bunch of small other things. My wife would kill me, but very cool.

Well, it may be big, but it'd be perfect for a road side stand selling boiled peanuts, or for cooking pork skins/lard, cooking down collard greens, frying fish at the church get togethers, water bath canning, frying up quail after a shoot, donuts, making cane syrup, and if you are the kind of guy who won't let his wife have any kind of new fangled gadgets around the house: boiling laundry and saturday night baths.

And it would be perfect for bragging rights at the hunting camp.

...What? Don't tell me that some of you don't know what I am talking about. You KNOW you'd do it if you had it.

Funny, for me at least, you started with boiled peanuts and pork skin, end at bragging right. Good salesmanship for sure. Doctor stopped the pork skins on me right now. And a great fryer too, maybe add wheels.

You almost had me on maps.google.com. I like the laundry idea too.

OK, you guys in Alabama and locals. Better get over there.

City of Fairhope, AL to be exact. about 45 minutes west of pensacola and about 2 feet east of Mobile Bay. Off Greeno road. Next to a Micro Brewery. Easy to find. At his commercial shop. You can back right up to it and load her up, and go for a taste test just a block or two away...eat some seafood then on your way out.

There's enough stainless there too, to have the makings of a nice stainless gas over wood grill/smoker.

And eat seafood!! You're killing me. But Pensacola is 8 hours North of here. Tom "acourtjester" is close, but he can make one himself

What is funny is people will go to Home Depot and spend $200 on a thin, junk cooker.
