Thread: First Project: Welding Cart

  1. Default First Project: Welding Cart

Just posting up my first real project. A welding cart for my 200DX. Had a couple of other projects in mind to work on first, however, it just looked silly on that harbor freight cart and there was some scrap laying around the shop at school so I figured, what the hell. Some features:

    - Built entirely from scrap
    - Shelves cut out on the Torchmate
    - ER70-S2 cotter pins (knew I forgot something at the hardware store...)
    - Destructive bend test lead hooks

Is the handle solid or hinged? Are the hose hooks big enough? The Everlast with the torchmate is a nice touch...

Handle is solid. Leads seem to be OK. Just painted it and haven't put it under any stress yet however.
