Welcome, JohnT! Waiting for the brown truck can be tough, and I know from experience that checking the delivery link every 30 minutes or so doesn't help! But it does give you time to collect TIG specific supplies... pure argon, tungsten, filler, etc. Good luck with it, and do keep us posted!

I hate waiting for things myself they always come when I go out or in the men's room. But Everlast I don't have to wait just call and drive down they are just 75 minutes away, just there yesterday to get a new PP80S sold my PP70S to the shop down the road. Now when it come you will be busy and not have time to get it out of the box. JohnT welcome to the forum you will like the PP164.

    Hi Frank,
Thanks for the welcome and the tip to welding tips and tricks. I have been to that site many times and yes it is a great resource.
Another great resource is chucke2009 on youtube. That kid is a tremendous teacher and his videos are great. He gets right to the point , no BS just good info.

Actually it was a combination of Reviews by Jody, Chucke2009, and Mr Tig that convinced me to buy Everlast.
I was torn between Everlast and "the other guys" I hope I like the combo unit as opposed to separate tig and plasma.
We will see. I expect my welder to arrive this week.
