    Default Newbie from SW Virginia

    So this isn't my first post here, i originally posted about a wrong part shipped with my Powertig 185 i just bought. The part should be here Wednesday but i borrowed a torch for the time being.
    Anyway this was my first use out of the machine, fusion welded 2 razor blades together.

    Wow...so nice!
    showing no signs of heat....cept a little at the very end.....to be expected.
    Im impressed!

    Thanks, the heat build up was actually starting the arc. Used aluminum angle for backing.

    Powertig 185 set at about 15 amps on the panel and used a pedal, 3/32 e3 tungsten sharpened to a point, and a # 7 cup with gas lens
