Thread: Silly/Simple 225LX question

  1. Default Silly/Simple 225LX question

Can someone please tell me where the breaker is on a 225LX? Sounds ridiculous but I simply can not locate it. I must be losing my mind.

    Thank You
    MIke

What do you mean by breaker? There are two possible ones. The switch serves as a breaker of sorts, but your main breaker should be at the panel.

    Mark,

I could have sworn the tech I talked to told me to check the breaker on the back of the machine, perhaps I was mistaken, anyway what do I need to do to get this machined fixed? I have no power, your tech told me the fan is wired so that it comes on first even if everything else is fubar the fan should still kick on, I have no fan. In short I got nothing.

    Thank you
    Mike

Yes. That is the main switch. If the fan won't come on, then I suspect you have faulty wiring somewhere else, and that would be the case if nothing is coming on. You can give me a call. Sometimes they are so busy that they forget to check the basics, and the usual items that cause problems outside of the machine. If the switch is bad, it would be a very rare occurance. You could likely fix that yourself and all we'd need to do is send out a switch for speed's and simplicity's sake. I would imagine you have a bad wire condition somewhere...either that or a bad breaker in the panel...which I've seen several times.
