I've never been able to use the 2T option on my old 200DX. When I put it on 2T and set my amps, when I use the foot pedal to turn it on, the foot pedal overrides the set amps.
Am I doing something wrong?

If it's an old DX, yes. You should probably have a limiter knob on the foot pedal that limits the amp range. If not, you may have the wrong pedal. But again, it depends upon when you purchased it. UP to 2011/2012 sometime it had a limiter on the pedal.

I dont think there is a limiter on the pedal. There's no knob or anything on it. I might just have to wire in a switch on my CK torch.
