Thread: Oxy/Acet torch to MC/B tanks

  1. #1

Default Oxy/Acet torch to MC/B tanks

I was going to leave this in the chat lounge, but figured I would put it here for now as I can move it.

Anyone have a source for adapters to go from MC/B tanks to victor regulators. A friend bought a victor torch set but wants to use a MC and B tank set. Like the HVAC and plumbers use.

I think the MC is a cga200 and B is a cga520. The victor set is a cga540 on the oxygen regulator and cga510 on the acetylene regulator.

Thanks Kempy, will call them Monday and pray the price is not like Grainger. But looks like they have it all just from the couple links.

It is a little easer to get CGA fitting when the tanks are made in the USA but try and fit USA to Canadian tanks like a CGA 520 to CGA 410. It is easer to fit the newer tanks to the newer regulators then the old stuff I have 7 different acetylene regulators.

When you think you have most of the adapters you need they come out with a new one.
