Everlast Cooler and Weldcraft CS310

I just ordered my Everlast tig cooler and wanted to get the Weldcraft CS310 to go with it for my 325EXT. Does anyone know what I would need to buy in order to hook everything up? It looks like arc-zone sells B-size to quick disconnect water fittings (item #CK-QDWAP) as well as B-size to quick disconnect gas fittings (item #CK-QDGAP). I have the Everlast cart and from other posts that I've read, I'll need to get some extra water hose. What else would I need?

Depending on the torch package your ordered, you will need a DINSE connector to 7/8" left hand thread for the power. Not sure what gas and water ends Weldcraft comes with since they are now Miller. More than likely it will be 5/8" left and right for the feed water and gas. You will have to convert that to Everlast QC fittings for your cooler. I heard the new Everlast gas fitting are going to 5/8, but some are hose barb, so you might have to mix and match a little bit.

Thanks Rambozo, I did find a Dinse connector that I think will work at arc-zone (Item #MIL-195377). I've wondered many times about converting the QC fitting for the gas to a 5/8, it seems that most off the shelf torches have that fitting instead of the QC connector . Same with the cooler connections, why not 5/8? Absolutely love the welder, just the connectors I don't like.

It seems every company has played around with some kind of QC. I think it makes sense for air cooled. However, without sealing valves for both ends, it just doesn't make much sense for water cooled, a mess in the making. I like the gas through DINSE system, but even that is not very common. The 5/8" size is kinda jumbo for little machines, but it is something of a standard, at least in this country.

The gas fittings will remain the same on our torches. However, we do offer the CK 5/8 to quick connect coupler for gas and water. 20.00 for two left hand water couplers.
Plus you can find on our site, extenders too for lengthening water cooler cables and the like. Look under consumables then MISC...this will lead you to all the misc parts. If you don't find it there, some water cooler parts are under the water cooler tab. CK equipment is not listed.

Thanks for the info Mark, it looks like from the picture on the website that the water extender lines have the female connector attached on one end and the QC on the other, looks like that could solve two problems in one. I don't need the water couplers if I use the water extender lines right?

I have this set up you will need the dinse connector with the torch and arc zone sells the adapters for the gas and water lines

I put my old CS310 to my 325EXT.




used Everlast QT fittings for gas and water


grind down plastic to fit on plastic on machine sticks out to much.


Made water line longer after cutting old fitting off it was to short

Thanks Kempy, I didn't realize I might have to trim back the rubber on the Dinse connector. I contacted arc-zone and Scott recommended the following:

"You should just get the CK Worldwide Dinse Plug (CK-SLWHAT-35), that one has a 6' side hose for the water return." and then he said that I'd need two of the QT water connectors and one of the QT gas connectors. I'll probably also get one of the extensions for the cold water line from Everlast.

I think that should do it . The support on this forum is AWESOME, every time I have an issue or question you guys are always so willing to help out. Thanks again for everyone's support helping out a newbie .

CK has that connector already with at least the gas Everlast QC fitting installed. I believe you used to just add QD to the part number, but a quick call to CK will confirm what the exact part number is. They might even be able to set you up with the QC water fittings pre-installed as well.

I should probably start a new thread for this but does anyone know why coolant would be shooting out of the tig torch? I got the cooler today and hooked up the water cooled torch to make sure everything works, and coolant is just streaming out of the end of the torch. I have it connected like it says in the manual. Blue hose to blue fitting, hose coming out of the Dinse connector to the red fitting and the remaining hose is connected to the gas on the 325EXT. When I turn on the cooler, it shoots water out of the tig torch. Any ideas?

Sounds like you have mixed up the gas and water lines. Be sure to flush everything out with clean water then run plenty of dry air through to dry your hoses or you will have no end of contamination problems.

I also put color heat shrink on the ends and color tape also to match each fitting gas on the 325EXT I used yellow.
