    Default Poweritig 200

Well i ordered my new tig welder last Monday and was pretty impressed that it was on my doorstep by friday. When I first opened it i was impressed by how nice was packaged and how good everything looked. I ordered the deluxe kit with foot pedal (or so I was told by the Everlast Sales Rep. Alex). Upon opening it i realized there was no foot pedal with it. Which I was pretty disappointed because that was a big reason I ordered straight from Everlast. So since that wasn't included I'm wondering if I got the upgraded torch and gas regulator with it as well. Does anyone have any pictures of what the upgraded ones are suppose to look like? I haven't gotten to weld with it yet but that will happen this evening. Minus this one incident, so far I'm pleased.

The foot pedal may be shipped separately. But you should call Monday to confirm the pedal shipped. If it hasn't they should be able to send it out soon. The deluxe accessories are listed on the website under torches and foot pedals. Most units are sold and shipped with the deluxe accessories that are prepacked. We reserve a few economy packages for those that are looking for price only. If you don't have a blue handled unwieldy torch, it is more than likely the deluxe package. Is your regulator brass colored. If so that is the deluxe.

Best to learn without the pedal if you are new to TIG. Not all jobs will be in position and just a good thing to know.

Check in with Alex, but sure the pedal is on the way in another box.

Post of some pictures if you have time, and post here if you have questions on setup and welding.

I appreciate the response. Well hopefully it'll be in tomorrow then. Yeah i definitely got the deluxe kit then just missing my pedal. I'm thinking about ordering a flex torch for this welder. Do you guys have one that you recommend for it and will i need an adaptor to run one?

I've been using lift start as well as the HF start with the torch mounted switch. So far I love this welder. It's been great to learn with.

If you order a flex torch from Everlast, it will be a plug and play package. They have both their own brand, and CK Worldwide. However, I don't believe the CK one will come with a torch switch. Give them a call and they can confirm all the details and give you the various options. Your typical application will dictate what will be the best torch for you. Also look into the stubby kits for the larger torches, to make them a lot smaller, while still handling more amps than the smaller torches.

Yeah I'm gonna call them tomorrow and see about my pedal anyways so I can just ask them. The flex torch doesn't have to have the switch so that would be fine regardless. I definitely need a stubby kit. Gotta wait til friday though.
