Default 1 more from the Pacific Northwest

Hi guy, I'm Cliff. Been welding with OA since I was a kid. Pissin the old man off using his welding tanks. About 10 years ago, a good buddy talked me into building a chopper. I had to think about it a bit. He had all the tools, jigs, benders, welders. He said he'd walk me through it and help out. Now I've done sheet metal work, auto body, painted more then a few of his bike, and some MIG. But when I thought of my arse on a frame I welded doing +60 (way more then), that kinda of stopped me in my tracks. I found a small welding school where the owner was a bit rough around the edges and straight up about teaching and welding. Went back to the basics with OA, then stick, MIG, TIG, and then plasma cutting. It was some of the best money I ever spent.

Now days I'm making Rapier hilt (the fancy fencing swords) and repairing armor. Yes folks the medieval style armor. It ranges from mild steel to titanium. I'll be starting 2 new helmet shortly, both stainless steel. My 1st time doing a helmet, but I have both the domes done.
