    Harold,
I am sure there are guys here willing to share their experiences. Give them time. Sometimes a lot of our guys don't check in until the weekend.

The Power Pro 256 has most of the features on the 250 EX if anyone wants to share with him as well. Also the LX.

I have had my 250 ex about 3 mo. and I love it.
Great arc and very easy to use. very adjustable. I have had some issues with the torch. I Love the switch ,but the torch is BIG by most standards. The machine alone is a great value. I does more bang for the buck than any other one I have seen.
I suggest you build or buy a water cooler if your gonna weld HOT.My torch gets hot at 150+ amps.I think that the cooler will fix that issue with the torch.

    Default 250 ex ck200

In the process of setting up my 250 ex with water cooler. I have adapted a CK200 torch (same as Weld Craft w20) with a micro switch. Will send pictures and update in a few weeks. Most of my work is with light aluminum, small tanks, oil catch cans, radiator reservoirs, etc. Waiting to cart for final setup.

    Harold,

Here's a link to some videos done by a very respected welding website. The videos were to discuss Inverter TIG machines, but they used our PowerTIG 250EX in the video. The last video he does some aluminum TIG as well.

After talking to Alex, I ordered and paid for a Power Pro 256 even though they were out-of-stock (ordered 5-3-2010). could I get an estimated shipping date from you or should I call?
