We'll just call this one the "Rightway" stove, since my first version hasn't filled any homes with smoke. This version doesn't seem to be much different than the first, so I'm not too concerned with burning anything down.
Outside of square tubing, not really the same thing, although the owner has offered to take my money as royalty payments.

Right now almost 49" tall, and just under 40" wide. . Stand will bring it to 60", and the side shielding will move it out to about 42".

initial burn was yesterday. Fired nicely, clean burning, no visible smoke at the stack.

Gotta build a stand for it today. The PP205S has been the perfect machine when coupled with the little Lincoln 3200. TIG for the small stuff, the MIG for the long seams on the combustion chamber.

Have been in discussions with a company in Australia for a few weeks now. The he possibility of having them mass produced for that emerging market down there...IF I could get it to work. Guess we can negotiate a bit better profit margin now ;-)

I've been told there's also a huge need for poultry house heaters that don't use propane...since propane is the 2nd largest cost after feed. We'll see....but I might be onto something. Not sure about the pellets to propane cost offset, but if it's substantial

what would 1 of these sell for?i looked at the wiseway last year....after i seen the price,no way would i pay that for 1 of those.

I'm guessing under $1000. Materials aren't much, time is the killer. They'd have to be sold as 'decorative appliance or shed heater' unless they get UL certified....and that's where the extra $1000 comes from in that 'other' stove.
I'd hoped that a kickstarter listing would help, but I'm at $0 pledged 5 days in.
It's heating my house, and to me that's what I built it for.

I'll admit it's a niche market, but ANY pellet appliance is going to run you $1K or higher unless you buy it used. AND, very very few work when the power goes out unless you're set up with an alternate power source. Even a decent quality wood stove is going to run you into the $500-1000 range. (yeah, that $200 pot belly is cute, but it's probably not 'listed' by any certification agency) But, without spending the $$$ea for certifications, it's a local market for me.

The diamond shape one is 'industrial' heat; shops, garages, renovation spaces where you can't use propane/nat-gas heaters.

The next version, which starts being built today, will be purely architectural (with the added benefit of being able to produce heat)....something that gets displayed in a great room, den or living area. Higher end homes, and a higher end installation. (color coated flue pipes to match the color coated stove). These will probably run in the $3-4K price range...and based on comments from a bunch of A/E firms I deal with at my day job....that price will be considered a bargain...even if they never get fired up, which most never will.

I'm also looking into making them propane fired, and what's involved with that.

Going to be an argon filled summer.

One reason my V2.0 will be built in China and sold in/through Australia.
F*&^ers in this country wanted to do everything from sue me to expect royalties because I mentioned their design in a forum....and I fully expect the lawsuit to continue.

All internal welds with the lil' tyrant (Lincoln 3200) and all the externals will be done with the Everlast TIG.
