    Default New to Everlast

Hi, I'm Jonathan and I am a weldaholic, . I am new to this forum but not welding in general. I am the Fabrication Manager and Safety Director for a local R&D company and run my own welding business on the side doing prototyping, production runs, small projects and machine shop repairs/buildups. I have and use Fronius, Miller and Lincoln but just received my first Everlast the other day. I got a used Power Pro 256 from a good friend and am looking forward to seeing how well it works. I have actually been wanting to try Everlast for the past several years and have a few friends who have and recommend them. The first item I want to upgrade is the air cooled TIG torch to a water cooled torch. I have Abicor Binzel water coolers and will get one hooked up soon. Hope to pick your brains on upgrades, like the foot pedal, and share/receive some knowledge when I can.

    Welcome Jonathan,

Sound like you have a full plate. Wife?? Send up any picture of fun projects, or point us to your website if you have one, if you get time of course.

There are plenty here on the forum that can help with questions too, not only welding related.

Might want to fill in your location in your user profile, so people can see if they are in your area. Enjoy the machine.

Thanks for the welcome! Yes, I am married and have two kids. I will get pics up of my machine and a few welds when I get it all put together and running. I will also share some of my past and future projects.
I have a website for my company but don't update it very often. www.superiorweldandfab.com and my employment during the days website is www.brasfondusa.com. There you can see some of the projects we get involved with.

Hope to see you guys around the forum!

Thanks Mike! I made those bumpers for a couple friends. I have wanted to build one for my truck but you know how it works with personal projects, always get pushed back. I need to update the website. Never generated any traffic from it, I just wanted to have one to be like everyone else, lol. I got my 256S all hooked up and will be posting a review soon.

I know what you mean. You have to pay the bills. And the cost of material too. Makes it easy to push them back. On the web, I bought a domain name but never put anything up. repeat business keeps that on hold too.
