80s question

hey all while i wait for some help i thought i would ask, more so directed to everlast staff but i am looking at the 80s and i notice it has a different connector then the old pp256 i have. this will be used for my new cnc router/ plasma table that i am building. is it possible to get this with a cnc head and longer cable? if not has anyone modified the s-75 to a straight setup and would it be possible to use the longer cable i have now and switch the ends?

Fyi found a post on a another forum about modifying a torch head.

If i can use the 20' cable i have now i will be in business.

Don't do it, I did and wasted a S75 torch. It was a knock off S75 with a long cable.
Got pissed at the issues of solder joints and stuff spinning when changing tips and ordered a S75 Machhine torch from my local dealer. Yeah the 500.00 CDN or so is costly but so does messing around everytime you want to use your machine.
