Thread: coolant flow direction Powertig 250EX

Default coolant flow direction Powertig 250EX

I have read a few posts on this but still unclear if the coolant flow direction is important and if so how do I determine which hose is which. I have a new 250EX and I figured out the correct line for the gas by blowing through it (manual diagram is useless). So now I have one coolant hose which goes to the large connector on the torch lead and the other hose goes up into the jacket going to the torch. Which hose is which and which should be hooked up to the coolant in and out connectors? Thanks!

Coolant to the torch goes into the loose line and returns from the line that has the large DINSE plug. Did you download the online manual? I have heard the the ones in the box are not that good.

I am not sure which manual you have either, but the one online definitely shows it clearly, as well as the water cooler manual.
