Thread: What Pedal ?

    As the title says what pedal do I need to order for my welder the return spring
    broke on mine .

    I need to know a part number to order.

    Is there a replacement spring availablefor purchase to keep my old pedal for a back up.

    Here is a pic of the welder.

    I'm sure you could find a replacement spring at McMaster-Carr (www.mcmaster.com), if not a local hardware store.

    On older machines it would be best to identify what pot is used before ordering a pedal. It is probably 47K ohm, but best to check. Also does your pedal have the second hand adjust pot for max amperage? Give support a call with the pedal apart in front of you and I'm sure they can fix you up.

    I am not sure...is that an Everlast or another company?

    I think they were 47K, he can open the pedal and read it off the pot. Maybe post a picture of the pedal. McMater like said or grainger if local to you. Or a local hardware store and just change out the spring.

    Yep everlast will have to see what ohms the pots are . Will do that this evening when I get
    home from work.
    I will check to see if I can find a torsion spring locally or order one but still would like to replace the pedal.

    Here is a photo of the side of the welder with the pedal on top.
