Thread: Help sourcing accessories--CANADA

  1. Default Help sourcing accessories--CANADA

    Hey guys...

Just a quick question for anyone who can help. Recently, a friend asked me for a reliable source for welding supplies in Canada. I am completely lost...

Can anyone suggest a source for welding rod, electrode, and general supplies.?? Online Canadian source would be preferred. Friend mentioned that Praxair was not very helpful. Mostly because they were not too interested in serving the individual... just larger businesses. Also, selection was not great...

He just needs an online source (reliable..). Import stuff apparently gets hosed pretty badly with Customs and "Brokerage" (whatever that is..).

Any ideas?? Thanks for the help.!!

I'm in Quebec. Usually I go weldingcity for my welding supply. For smaller part such as tungsten electrode and tips they are very reliable. a lot of choices. I ordered rods and wires too. The shipping could cost a lot especially compare to the currency right now. the price is still cheaper than the local home depot.

Do you have a Tractor Supply close enough? There are a few in Canada. They have a lot of stuff, but not likely to have tungsten.
