I purchased a 200 Amp spool gun with a Power i-Mig 205. Beside checking it for not being DOA, this week was the first time I'd used the spool gun. Repaired an aluminum truck body and was pleasantly surprised with the performance. Very nice results on both aluminum sheet and channel using .040 4043. The gun integrates seamlessly with the Power Mig i-205. For the money it's a nice combination. Time will tell the tale on longevity.
I'm lucky enough to have two Imig 205 and one spool gun,,,personally if I had to choose one welder ,,,mig,,tig,,or stick,,I would choose the I mig 205,,,,does great mig and good stick,,,it's all a person really needs...
