Thread: Quite fan

  1. Default Quite fan

I have a 250 EX tig machine and love it except for the loud fan! I know all about the continuos fan and the duty cycle increase but has anyone ever changed fans to something quieter? On a miller dynasty for example it is so much quieter. I would just like to hear the radio while working in my garage.
    Thoughts?

    Thanks

Any changes to the fan will void your warranty and reduce duty cycle. The miller may be quieter but it's duty cycle is about half.
If your leads are long enough you could put the machine outside the door or in another room.

I have a simple solution. Turn up the radio or any other sound device that makes you happy!
