Yes, I’m using one on my Everest 210 EXT, which ideally calls a 47K potentiometer on foot pedals and hand amptrols for TIG torches.
Interestingly, though, the CK SteadyGrip version I obtained from TigDepot has a 25K pot on it, which works fine at the torch, but does display some anomalous amp readouts at the machine panel, which was much the same as was showing on Mr. TIG’s video demonstrating the CK SteadyGrip that he was using with an Everest 325EXT, which is what prompted my interest to begin with.
Anyway, the anomalous behavior at the panel readout is not a problem, and Mr. TIG is the only source that seems to have developed the CK SteadyGrip for the 7-pin Panasonic connector and TIG welders such as Everest, AHP, and Longevity, even though CK Worldwide doesn’t seem to have developed any of the new SteadyGrip model with a 47K or 50K pot, which seems a foolish move on the part of CK, as there is probably a lot of imported TIG welder users that could be served and profited from if they did.
But, in the meanwhile, Mr. TIG and the staff at TigDepot seem to have developed an immediate solution for Everest and other import TIG welders, for use of this somewhat innovative new pistol-grip, hand-amptrol from CK.
Of course, many here on the forum know that my twists and turns on this subject took up a couple of threads here recently. But, the forum was kind of quiet. And now I’ll lay the matter to rest, so to speak, by including a link to a video that I just uploaded to my YouTube Channel, which outlines the matter for forum members here, and undoubtedly for others, globally, who may wish to purchase a SteadyGrip unit for their imported TIG welder that may or may not have a 7-pin Panasonic connector.
Peace be with you all,
C. Livingstone
