Consumables for S45 torch

I would appreciate if you could help me about the choice of consumables for S45 torch.
I have just purchased a Power Plasma 50S and the operation manual does not specify anything about this.
My doubts are related with the type of nozzle, electrodes, etc. which I have to use depending on the thickness of steel and the required current.

It should have a PT60 torch. This is a fairly recent change. The torches are very very similar, with some parts interchangeable...but the PT60 is better designed with higher amperage capacities, better duty cycle with longer consumable life in general.

The plasma is european model and according to the description in operation manual it is S45...
These is no identification in the torch but it is purple with yellow trigger.
One of the reasons why I chose that model was it had a S45 type with blowback start.
Am I wrong?

Ok. YOu have the S-45. PT60 has blowback as well. Use this as a general rule of thumb.

First 1/8"=20 amps
Every 1/8" over that add 10 more amps.

For consumable sizes on the S45, expect a:
.9mm to go from 40-50 amps.
.8mm to go from 30-40 amps.
.6mm to go from 20-30 amps.

And what about the electrodes? There are two types: one is short and the other one is longer. I have got a brochure of Trafimet S45 but it does not explain the recommended uses of both types.
