Power I Mig 200 MIG STICK WELDER , how high should the amp gauge read on stick side

I just got this welder last month as little bigger mig welder and shop stick welder , As I was trying it out notice in stick mode that the gauge max out at 100 amps on the display but sill had about 3/8-1/2 of the dial to go . so I was wanting to know if is that normal or what .

Not unless you are operating on 120V.

I was running it off the 220 plug on my ranger 305 , since I don't have 220 out in the building that I do my welding repair out of at this time.
