  1. Default Power ultra 205p compressor question.

Hello, I ordered a power ultra off amazon and it should be here wed. I see the recommended capacity of 30 gallons and 5 cfm at 90 psi. Is there a minimum recommendation? I would like to not have to buy a new compressor if I don't have to. Thank you. Great forum by the way!

That is the minimum. You need plenty of clean dry air and set the pressure with the air flowing, not static. I recommend a motor guard air drier http://www.tooltopia.com/motorguard-...d=scplp6815226 This one comes with 2 extra filters that can be dried in the sun and reused. You'll also need 2 - 1/2"x1/4" npt bushings to reduce the filter ports to common air hose fittings. The bushings are readily available at any home center or plumbing supply store.
Here's the same filter on my cart http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...-Plasma-Cutter

Thanks zoama, this is my first time with a plasma. I have a 29 gallon that flows 5.7 at 90 psi, that should be good shouldn't it?

As long as it can maintain 70psi while cutting. The air drier is a must for clean cuts and good consumable life. When cutting, you want to move smoothly and as fast as possible without skipping in the cut.
Clamp a straight edge onto your work for a good clean cut. http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...7589#post57589

Thank-you, I picked up the Desiccant Dryer from HF today but just ordered one of those of Amazon.
