    Default pro 205 alum ??

    hey guys i have not used my tig in a few years and cant remember setup on alum 1/8" i looked at manual and and im confused now as it says you can have it either way to have torch in pos or neg ??

    i tried to tack some alum and they looked like this post and not clean like it should be ? http://www.everlastgenerators.com/fo...ght=setup+alum

    i i have to weld some alum here pretty quick so i will be taking plasma torch off soon thanx

    Torch goes in negative. Yellow knobs (freq bal) set at 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock, amps somewhere between 90 and 125 depending on weld type, part size and position. Keep a tight arc and be smooth and consistent.
