    Default Amp conversion

Ok I looked online and for example if using .035" wire the conversion to amps goes like this. 360ipm wire speed max divided by 1.6 right. so 360/1.6=225A. Ok now first is that right? and my I-mig 140E goes to wire speed 360 so I am assuming the electronics limits the amperage to 140A?

Yes, it is called an overcurrent. Not advised. You should not intentionally do this. Stay with .030 or .023" wire.
