  1. Default NEW STAND-OFFs S45 and P80

For Customers who prefer to use a Roller Standoff for the S45 over the wire stand-off we have these for both the S45 and P80 Plasma torches.

Do you have anything similar for the AG60 Pilot Arc Torch that comes with the power ultra 205?

    Thanks

Duncan is the best one to answer this.

But, based on my calipers, it will fit the S45 and the 60P.

The Roller Guides will not fit the existing S45 cups . In order to make it work you need to lightly sand the cup to make it fit.
The Standoff is designed for the new cups and as such they fit with the correct clearance.
At this time we do not have a roller guide for the Ag ( pink cups ) as these where not originally designated for Pilot arc start.
As you can see in the picture there is no way to adapt it . The cup is just the wrong shape to even try to rig it up.
    Cheers

Appreciate the picture, that's very helpful to see why it won't fit. Now I just need to find a roller guide that will fit the AG60 torch :-)

    Thanks

    Ralph,

Roller guides like this are fairly easy to make. I think (I think I did anyway) post a pdf to a simple breakdown of the parts needed to make one that is very close to what we have that uses locking collars. I am sure there is a locking collar that can fit the dimensions of the 60 amps torch.

Any idea where that PDF was posted? Would love to see the breakdown of what it takes to make one. I get the idea from the explanation, but a short how-to PDF would be great for a newbie like me.

    Thanks
    Ralph

I tried to reload it after adding a little more info, but it exceeds the file limit for pdf. I will try to see what I can do about getting Mike to increase it.

Are these standard or a option? What model torch comes with the PP256?

Did the file ever get re-upped and if so, where is it?
Penncrest Buzzbox - Infinite amp control! Man the 70's were good.
Everlast Powerplasma 60 - Reliable unit, cuts well.
Everlast i-MIG 250P w/spoolgun - Really smooth, plenty of cajones.
Everlast 250EXT - Sometimes it just takes a kick in the balls...
Everlast 255EXT - Just started playing

It could always be uploaded as a series of screen shots.
