Thread: 275P and Push pull gun

  1. Default 275P and Push pull gun

Does anyone have pics and or specs of the Push/Pull? Or is it not being sold yet. This will be strictly for aluminum applications building boats/aluminum Fab.. I have been using a 250Ex for 4 years and it still runs good. Getting ready to build another boat here in the next month and was going to sell my miller and get a newer pulse machine from Miller or Lincoln. Just happened to see this new welder with a push/pull set up. Very intrigued need more info.

Do you make videos of your boat building?

I like pics too. Anything you'd like to share would be greatly appreciated.

It is a disappointment that this setup is absent from the listings on the website. What's up with that? Not functioning as anticipated? I've basically given up as a buyer of that pairing.

Yofish, you still running your 30A mod gun on the everlast mig for aluminum welding? If so, wondering if the power supply is still keeping up with the gun? Still want to convert one for my 251SI need to get the electrical schematics when the manual comes out.

Sorry for late reply, I don't really hang that much here. Yes, I have a dedicated 30A spool gun for the i-mig 200. I only use it for remote jobs so it isn't used a bunch. I have tilted it (exceeded duty cycle) a couple of times with no issue. It is my go-to machine for stick because it runs low hydrogen 3/32 so well. Never tilted it on stick. The only issue I have is that where I tapped in for gun power is less than 24V, therefore I can only run 3/64 wire because it doesn't turn up enough. No biggy for me because that's the wire I mostly use but some guys don't like it especially on thin stuff. It would be easy enough to throw a Miller PSA-2 and a WC-24 power supply in the mix to give 28V but that's too spendy. You will be much happier with the more amps, and not knowing the machine, may find more volts to run the gun too. If you have other questions please mail me at: meco@xyz.net

We also now have a Heavy Duty 36 series spool gun we can sell with the unit. It is 300 amp rated @ 60% D.C. We are still waiting on push pull for 275P from the gun manufacturer. Also, I am working on another source for the gun as well.

    Interesting,

Will that HD 36 series spoolgun run on a MTS 251Si model too?

So it's a year later did this ever get sorted out? Is the push/pull available?

Push Pull has been being sold for some time. But due to relatively lower demand, we sell the unit with push pull direct since there are a few options to deal with when ordering.

What kind of options are available?
