When using my spool gun it seems the "spot and stitch" functions don't work. I was hoping to combine the two to improve my mig welding aluminum. Before I start troubleshooting, are these features normally inhibited when using the spool gun???

The features are controlled on the panel. Never tried it with the spool gun. Spool gun on that model is controlled on the panel.

Hi Mark,

I'm going to fool around with it a bit more. I'm having very good luck using .023 wire at 600ipm on my aluminum fixes and want to see about using parts of spot/stitch function to help more.
