    Default Wp-20 hose routing

    Received an Everlast cooler yesterday and I searched for a thread I thought I saw about the Everlast torch water hose colors being backwards.
    Didn't find the thread but to route them in the right direction doesn't that put the blue hose in the red connector and the red hose
    in the blue?? Just checking, Thanks

    The best way to determine which goes where is to blow through the hoses and listen to the torch. If you blow through and hear air hissing out the torch, that's your gas line. If you blow through another hose and the air exits out the remaining hose, it's a water line. The water hoses should be routed so that water exits the hose that also acts as the power cable. The water feed is the other hose. The power/water hose fitting should also be left hand threaded but just the basics I just explained should help you out.

    Nope, the hose colors should be getting better but you need to check your actual torch to make sure. Quite a few people have hooked it up wrong because it is somewhat non intuitive if you are new to this. The best way to figure out the hoses is to blow in them one at a time. On one you will feel air coming out of the end of the torch (cup), that is your argon line. The hose coming out of the power plug is the water return line and goes in the red or IN port on your cooler. The last hose you have left is the water supply and that goes to the blue or OUT on the cooler. If the colors are right, that's great, but you never know. This way you will always get it right first time, and not get your argon hose all contaminated with coolant.

    Thanks for the replies. The Everlast Wp-20 hose connected to the dinse connector is blue, the red one is the long one going to the torch head. Black long one is gas.
    I'm actually replacing a Longevity 110v to the Everlast 220v so I can plug it to the back of the 255. The water hoses on the torch I was using were both black, gas hose blue. I had the short dinse connector hose going to the inlet on the cooler.
