Power Ultra 205 Plasma amps not correct

Hello,
I bought a Power Ultra 205 Multi Purpose welder in 2011.
I used it about 5 times and then boxed it and moved.
Last year (2016) I decided to set it up again as I needed the Plasma cutter.
When I tried the unit the Plasma function itself worked and I could cut metal.

The problem is that the amps will not go below 95 at the min setting and will go to 237 amps at the max setting.
The stick amps will display 004 amps and will go to 202 amps.

I have emailed Mike K at Everlast who suggested that the display is incorrect and I could simply just adjust the pot for the display and dial it back down.

I am just wondering why or what happened to this welder to cause this.
It is a hobby welder and rarely used.

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated.

Well both of the guys that monitor this forum, including me have been out of power and internet for a few days, Call tech support. That's what it is there for. Call the guys at ext 207. Sounds like you'll need to send it in though.
