Tried to get the torch end cap to seat but this is as far as it will go...take collet holder and tungsten out and it goes down just fine...im stumped...feels like its bottoming out on something but i dont see how...![]()

That's normal operation. The cap seals with an o-ring and is bottoming on the collet as it should, pressing it into the collet body and squeezing the tungsten. Don't over tighten because it will damage the collet when it's hot.

Youve' also got the collet body screwed in too far. Don't screw it in to the last thread.

So should i leave it half n half and let the two meet in the middle?
As long as the cap o-ring seals it will work wherever you put it. I prefer the generic gas lenses and cups from weldingcity paired with CK wedge collets. I use a CK130F for most of my tig welding because it's small and light.
