211 Si Spool Gun 7 Pin connection

Hello!

I just purchased a 211SI and I have a spool gun from a previous welder. Euro connection but it has a 10 pin control plug. For the Spool Gun is the 7 pin wire up the same as the tig foot pedal? 3-4-5 is the rheostat with 1-2 the trigger and 6-7 shorted or do 6-7 provide a function for the gun such as drive motor power? Anything else to look out for?

I am in Canada and noticed the US site sells the 7 pin adapter in the parts section for $10 - hopefully they can ship me one if I order

I have only done a few trial mig welds and then got called away on a business trip but I was pretty impressed with how fast the set up was and the welds were great right off the bat!

So I will answer my own question: You need to be in 2T pedal mode with both LED's on for the spool gun rheostat to work and the connections are : Pin 6(+) to spool motor and 7 (-) to spool motor, 1 and 2 are the trigger switch and 3-4-5 are the rheostat.
